Exit the Airport: Upon leaving V.C. Bird International Airport, turn left onto Sir George Walter Highway (also known as Airport Road).​

Proceed to St. John's: Continue on Sir George Walter Highway for approximately 5 km until you reach the outskirts of St. John's, the capital city.​

Navigate Through St. John's: Follow the signs directing you towards All Saints Road. This will involve a series of turns through the city streets.​

Continue on All Saints Road: Drive southeast on All Saints Road for about 10 km. This road will take you through the central part of the island.​

Turn onto Matthews Road: Look for Matthews Road on your right. Turn onto this road and continue for approximately 3 km.​

Arrive at Monks Hill: Matthews Road will lead you directly to Monks Hill. As you ascend, you'll notice the panoramic views of English Harbour.​

Locate Tamarind House: Tamarind House is situated near the summit of Monks Hill. Look for signage or landmarks as you approach.​

If you prefer not to drive, taxis are readily available at the airport. However we would recommend pre booking a taxi beforehand. The fare to Monks Hill is approximately $70 USD. The journey typically takes around 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic.​
